Bodies Of Water - A Nude Dance Outdoor Workshop [Naturism]
A lakeside afternoon with a group of nude dancers taking a workshop with choreographer Eric Kupers. Free of their clothes everyone feels transformed and energized with spontaneity. The rhythms of nature flow through their bodies. Filmed at Folsom Lake in California. The whole video is too long to show here so I have created this much shortened version. -- My name is Nomad and I organize small group trips into nature where we get naked, then get creative with photography, videography and interacting with the environment. We are based in central California and are always looking for more people to join us on our adventures.

Swimming Naked With Beluga Whales [Science]
These extraordinary pictures show a naked woman attempting to tame two beluga whales in a unique experiment. It was deemed necessary for Russian diver Natalia Avseenko, 36, to strip for the unusual assignment as marine experts believe belugas do not like to be touched by artificial material like diving suits. So Natalia bravely took the plunge into the sea as the temperature in the water touched minus 1.5 centigrade. The belugas, famed for the apparent way in which their faces are able to convey expressions, seemed to like the experience, frolicking for all they were worth. The taming of the belugas happened in the Murmansk Oblast region in the far north-west of Russia at the shore of the White Sea near the polar circle at a branch of the Utrish Dophinarium. An area of the sea is bordered to stop whales and dolphins getting out and instructors tame the mammals before they are transported to dolphinariums around the world. The whales pictured are named Nilma and Matrena. Belugas have a small hump on their heads used for echo-location and it was thought that there would be more chance of striking up a rapport or communicating with them without clothes on.
According to the Russian Emergency Service the average human could die if left in sub-zero temperature sea water for just five minutes. However, Natalia spent ten minutes 40 seconds in the water with no obvious ill effects. A yoga practitioner, she used meditation techniques and was able to hold her breath for ten minutes underwater.

Naked In The Rain [Poetry]

Go naked in the rain
Delight in running bare,
Ignoring disapproving glance
And shunning scornful stare.
Walk naked in the rain
In pooling puddles play,
Skin all cool and tingling
And hair in disarray
Run naked in the rain
Wild and indiscreet,
Down mountain trails and country lanes
And glistening city streets.
Be naked with the rain
While the clothed run for cover,
Let the storm envelop you
Embrace it like a lover.

Jack Gescheidt & The TreeSpirit Project [Heroes of iNAKED]
Jack Gescheidt, a professional photographer since 1988, was born and raised in and around the wilds of New York City and upstate New York by two professional photographer parents, Rae Russel and Alfred Gescheidt.
His commercial and editorial photography has appeared in hundreds of places: magazines, newspapers, books, calendars, posters, greeting cards and in advertising: http://www.JackPhoto.com
The TreeSpirit Project is his labor-of-love environmental art project begun, serendipitously, in 2003 as a collection of photographs depicting humans in communion with trees. Click here to read how it began.
“TreeSpirit” combines Jack’s lifelong passions for nature, photography, people, writing, speaking and environmental advocacy. It is fueled by some of his most powerful childhood memories in the countryside: exploring streams and ponds, playing in fields and in the downpour of thunderstorms, and of course climbing trees.
TreeSpirit imagery has appeared in media around the world:
“Out On A Limb,” a documentary film about Jack, his making TreeSpirit photographs, and the moving stories of volunteer participants, is in development: http://www.TheTreeSpiritFilm.com:
Jack now lives in the woods of west Marin county, CA. He feels privileged and grateful to be in the humbling, inspiring company of towering redwoods and Douglas Firs.
